Tungsten carbide rolls are known for their exceptional wear resistance, which significantly reduces the frequency and cost of roll replacements, by up to 65–80 percent compared to standard rolls. In addition, they help maintain consistent corrugated board quality and reduce material waste caused by production defects. A standard corrugating roll typically lasts between 6 and 8 million meters, while our tungsten carbide rolls can reach 30 million meters or more, offering a much longer service interval.

Yes, our rolls are designed for compatibility with a wide range of corrugator systems, including models from BHS, Fosber, Mitsubishi, BW Papersystems, Marquip, Peters, Isowa, JS, TCY, West River, Hsieh Hsu, K&H, XHL, Fuli, and Wanlian. Each corrugating roll can be customized to match the specifications and flute profiles required by the customer’s equipment.

Our tungsten carbide rolls are manufactured with a coating thickness between 0.06 mm and 0.08 mm, providing a balanced combination of surface hardness, strength, corrosion resistance, and wear protection.

Corrugating rolls are the core components used to shape the flutes in corrugated board. They form the base of the structure by pressing the paper into a wave-like pattern. Pressure rolls work in tandem with corrugating rolls to bond the fluted medium to the liner under pressure. Additional rollers such as glue rolls, doctor rolls, anilox rolls, and rubber rollers play supporting roles in glue application, glue control, and paper transport during the forming and bonding process.
